Reli On Temple Touch Thermometer
I reviewed this product back in September on our former blog. An except from that original post can be found below. I had the need to use it on a few occasions since then including this week when my husband was running a fever. I went to get a thermometer out of our medicine cabinet and realized one of the reasons I like this thermometer is because it doesn’t require covers like an ear thermometer does. In the past I have used an ear thermometer regularly and been perfectly happy with it, but it required me to purchase the covers and I’ve been known to run out of them. I’m not sure if this is true with all ear thermometers, but the brand we have does not work without one.

It’s funny how such a simple thing could make my day. Today it was this new product I received from our friends at MomSelect. By the way, they sent us an extra one so visit our contest page for your chance to get your hands on one! Wondering what the heck I’m talking about? It’s the new Temple Touch Thermometer from Reli On.
School is starting and so is cold and flu season. Hopefully with a lot of hand washing and a bit of luck we’ll manage to get through the winter unscathed or at least only minor illnesses. However, with one child in preschool and one in daycare the chances are slim so I’m always glad to add to my arsenal of first aid products. This thermometer gets an accurate reading by just placing the probe of the thermometer on the temple and waiting for a long beep (about 6 seconds total). No more disturbing the kids while they are sleeping. No more inflicting more discomfort on my little guys while they are sick waiting what feels like an eternity for an axilla reading.
You can find the Reli On Temple Touch Thermometer at Walmart or Sam’s Club for approx. $10.
ElmCityParent.com received the Reli On Temple Touch Themometer from MomSelect to review. No other compensation was received.
